The grade of
locksets is based on a series of tests done by ANSI (American National

Half-Dummy Function |
Surface mounted knob or lever for doors
where only a pull is required. No operation. |
|
|
|
|
|
Interconnected |
Lockset system where inside lever or knob simultaneously retracts
latch and deadbolt for quick emergency exit. Required by some local
building codes in specific applications. |

|
|
|
Keyed Alike |
Where two or more locksets are keyed to use
the same key. |

|
Passage Function |
Interior lockset used for closet, hallway
and bedroom doors, both sides are always free to turn. Can be knob or

Patio Function |
Both sides locked or unlocked by push/pull
button inside. Same as Privacy function with no exterior emergency unlock
feature. Used on exterior doors which
